It's hard to look at this photo. They're so old, my mother's "Old Folks" home would allow them to play.  
To each their own. Please don't misunderstand, I love the Zep. Saw them in '77 at the Forum. It's just hard for me to see my heroes growing old. |

Their mode of living was work hard, play harder, joke around a lot, and celebrate each and every birthday. While at the same time, enjoying life to it's fullest and don't listen when people attempt to suggest that we're too old to do all of that.
I understand that most people find it difficult to see the their heroes age. But for me, I applaud them and their quality of playing. They're like a good wine... getting better and wiser with every passing moment. And I said I wouldn't return the catalogue unless I got a free Concert from them, in person. They said they'll get back to me. Scenic! Stand your ground, my friend. I wish you much success in acquiring said performance. In the event that you attend, I only request that you furnish pictures of said event.
Hope that you enjoyed your birthday. Did ya take the blue car out for a drive? |
