Is someone going to Cars & Coffee on saturday? Are there normally any aircooled Vws?
I'm in california till 28dec, at the moment in Santa Cruz and thinking about going to c&c this or the next week (26.12).

Bummer! Wish I would've seen this post earlier. Sometimes, a few air cooled cars show up. Maybe next Saturday, yes?

If I don't end up in AZ to visit my sister on that day, I'll bring the '67 out and meet ya there. Hopefully, a few other Cal Lookers will be present from The Lounge.

Hint, hint.

Ted, it technically starts at 0700hrs. and goes till around 900hrs. But I've arrived as early as 0645hrs. and many people are already there. But, anyway... that's the basic idea. I'll see ya if I don't go to AZ.

Cool, Ted. Looks like I'm staying in So Cal this weekend. AZ will have to be either next weekend or later in 2010. Having said that... Cars & Coffee!!!

Looking forward to it.

Damn it -- Was gonna sneak down there tomorrow but just got informed that we're talking the Ma-in-law out to brunch

It seems I agreed to it a couple of weeks ago -- I guess I'm gonna have to stop nodding my head and grunting when she is talking to me LOL

This was my first time to Cars & Coffee. Had a blast, saw tons of nice cars, a few bugs, and met some cool people. Looking forward for my next trip there. It WAS freezing though, to me. Thats just me.  Smiley

Yep... that was easily the coldest C&C event we've attended. But quite worth it. Christoph and Torben, it was cool meeting you both. Hope that you can make the D.K.K. lunch/cruise tomorrow.

A few pics from this morning:

Gorgeous 1960 Type 1 Convertible.

A rather obscure English Ford Popular.

Really dug on the color.

Wow, this was a cool event, wish there was something like this over in Germany.
Mark, thank you and your girlfriend for meeting us there, also all the other guys we met, we had a really good time hanging around with you and watching all these cool cars.
Looking forward to see you tomorrow.
