This is my 67 beetle, Iv had it for 6 years and have been restoring it for the last 2!
here are some pictures of what it used to look like...

finally got some more work done! been abit skint and its been fuckin cold lately so motivation has been low :S but its all comin back together now!





managed to get dzus fasteners all done!



sitting a bit to high for my liking, i think it is the shocks bottoming out because it sat much lower on the same beem before! im using KONI







couldnt resist :p



discs will be replaced with porsche cross drilled and gas burners for street and ercos with front runners on for the strip!

yes i thort that but theres only the bonnet and tank to go back in so not much more weight?

Looking good.Dont forget the weight of the glass and interior etc. That will bring it down a bit more.

managed to get the windscreen in and the wing beading done! no where sells beige wing beading anymore it seems :S but black will do for now!
got the seats to go in tomoro and hopefully the rest of the glass!













going back to work next sunday so there will be a couple of weeks pause in progress Sad
at least the bonnet, doors and deck lid will be painted by then! (dont ask why they arnt already lol)

motor is coming on nicely to! comp ratio is being set to 10.5:1
