Today fans like us are privileged to see so many nice old cars that survived.
But for most of them, we don't know how they looked like the day lucky guys found them again!

Would it be possible to share in this topic just the first pictures of historical Cal look or old Gasser/drag found after years.
Kind of California Look lost and found...
No pictures after car wash, polish or new paintjob allowed here! It's just about "dusty cars".
A little bit of story behind the pics would be great too!

I posted a couple of these before on another threaad and it's not at the point it was found but it is prior to the car being brought back to life. I thought it looked pretty cool like this but that was only because I wasn't the one facing the issue of what to do with it and how to deal with some of the more major issues. I think anyone who's seen the car since can appreciate how good a job the current owner and the crew he entrusted it to did on it.

 Cool

Nice topic. The Stutt Bee pics are killer!

Here are some shots of the Pink Panther when it was stored at the Berg's shop and when I picked it up at Bremen/Germany

This is a cool topic, I love seeing this stuff, stumbling upon things that have been shoved into a corner and forgotten about, projects that interest was lost.

Here's the day I first saw Keith Goss's 'Chopped' and worked out a deal – back in 1996, I think. The car had not been out of the garage since 1984, when the engine went 'Bang!'.

Well before that wasn't it Keith? More like '94?

Thats not how we found it,thats after I removed the front end addition Shocked   You can still see the outline of it there, that when I was taking it to the shippers, then at the shippers waiting to be checked ready to go to Scotland

I do have a picture somewhere of it when I 1st saw it.
