DKK into DKP

i was wondering when Bill Schwimmer went from DKK to DKP decals on his car.
Not so much the actual date is important, but maybe some background info on what led to the start of DKP3.

i think that it is probally a nice topic to talk about here on the Lounge.

i read in KS's book that Bill sold/swapped his squareback (which had DKK stickers) for his nice looking oval. and that wore DKP stickers. so it has to be around the time he swapped from one to the other, but i don't know how long it took or how long he kept the oval?
