Let see what some of your project that you have planned for 2010. Here is my next project which has been waiting for me for the last 7 years or more. 1958 NSU Prinz will have an IRS transmission with 1776 cc engine with the 48 IDA'S with roll bar with the rear apron removable like the early buses so that I can pull the engine straight out. I have talk to Dan at Competition Engineering to start on the rear suspention. Will be posting pictures as soon as I start on it.

  Thanks

This year's project is saving money for a transmission.  And if I get any free time the second half of the year just pick away at little jobs like brakes refurb and tidy up interior.

Frenchy, no doubt, that'll be one nice looking car when you're done. Can't wait to see it.

For me, I hope to get front (wide five pattern) discs up front, a beefed up transmission (love to get a 901, but we'll see), and a bigger engine. In that order, too.

It seems like I always have more projects than time or money, but before this summer I plan on installing the 1776 in the wife's type 181 and getting the jetting right on my '67. I'd also like to finish the work my panel bus needs and drive it around a bit.

2010 already?? Wow!

I have too many projects... that I know  Grin

Anyway, as far as VW's go, I plan on having my Oval running in time for Classic (not painted, just running). This may not sound like much to some, but I've had this car (and the dream) for a long time now, so to me--it's big.
On my beloved old Burro, I need to freshen up the engine, transmission, front end and brakes.

I'll do my best Wink

I wouldn´t, if it was my car. This mini car is strange and interesting enough without spoiling its body lines.

I started in on my '73 Thing project recently.  It outta keep me busy over the winter months. Cheesy  I'm planning on Sea Blue paint, black top, polished 5x205 Centerlines, and a decent engine package (either a nice 1915 or a detuned 2054 that's in my Ghia currently).

I share a similar goal: a 2017 but with 45 DRLAs, not IDAs... hopefully I'll get fairly far into the progress this spring and summer, we'll see how it goes.  Still in the parts collecting stage!
