     Hi Colleen

Frenchy here from Tempe Arizona I am a big fan of your Grand Father since the early days of the Bug - In in Orange County Calif I have collected over the years a lot of parts and pictures from your Grand Father Dean Lowry.
Too much to list but I will post pictures of some of my collection as of today.

     Take care

That's an awesome collection and tribute to Dean, well done Frenchy. I still remember buying my first power pulley from Dean, and inquiring about
running dual Holley bug-spray's. His response was rather grandfatherly, and quite accurate...lucky me!

On a more personal note, If I remember correctly you ran the car show at a Bug-In about 25 yrs ago for Rich Kimball. If so, I owe you an apology
for acting like a pompous prima donna asshole with my Rometsch cabrio by insisting on my own display area.  Mea culpa Mr. Dehoux mea culpa.

Do not worry about the past this is all about having fun with what we love best our hobby lets worry about the future more important anyways. I have pictures of the Rometsch from the Bug In days with Maribeth and some pictures of the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America from the 70's as well.

    Take care Phil

you might want to check with Lee Leighton, Lee recently retired and I talked to him on and off. Lee and Dean had many adventures campaigning the inch pincher, I'm sure he has pictures and stories many of which hes told me that would be priceless. The other person to contact would be Darrel Vittone if you have a problem with contact send me a note.
