Very cool. I hadn't seen the version with the commentary before but what an amazing drive, the approaches into the bends on the Nordschleife are staggering, watching that it's hard to imagine anyone doing it better than that combination of car and driver.

There's another good view of a lap of the Nurburgring with Derek Bell but he's handicapped by the fact that the camera back then probably weighed half as much as the car again which he points out as he's passed by Jacky Ickx.

I went to the nordschleife the friday before DDD7 and had a ride with Walter(airspeed) in his 2.2liter type 4 turbo 1303 and man what a thrill that was.
We topped at 200 km/h on some parts but the porsche kept on flying past us. Grin Grin

Oh and we went backwards doing 170-180 km.h and hit the guardrail during the first pass.Luckely nothing serious happend and the car only got a beat up fender and a warped bumper.

Hans-Joachim Stuck is very famous here in germany about his words. He is a very funny guy... Grin His nickname here is 'striezel'!
I have lough often while watching this video ....breakfast... sperates boys from the girls... and most importand ... FULL THROTTLE!!! Shocked
