when I was a teenage punk kid, my dream was to work for your dad, Doug. I think back what I might have learned working @ 1725... you want to talk "volumes"? Anyway, laying awake in bed @ 2:45am... reading, reading, reading then taking all and screwing it into action, I guess something had to stick after 24 years, huh?

thanks Doug. We gotta talk sometime, moving lobe peaks around, the "hidden meaning" behind some of the VZ grinds (how funny would it be to see that one of the blasphemous VZ cams plots the valve the same as one of the "cool guy" cams that everybody says is ok to use).
Small cyl cc, smallish, whistiling ports (think organ in a church) and lots of cam timing, Vs big cyl lungs, cavernous ports and stumpy cams. The age old debate... if guys look into what some race motors out of factories did (for more than 11-12-13 sec), we'd move forward.
And the beer-fueled hours in jr college trig, figuring out where piston was at opening/closing, and taking swept volume from there.... there's your dynamic CR. Good ol' TI calculators!
