well as the title says guys I am looking for information of ZF LSD's - I have located one for PROJECT 66 and all I know is that it is the "8 bolt type" meaning there are 8 bolts holding the crown wheel,

I know its gonna need a rebuild and after reading about Marc's troubles I thought it would be good to get some more info on these old skool diff's

Any info would be a great help guys - I'll be waiting  Smiley

my main question is - is a ZF unit a Torque bias differential OR limited slip differential  Huh Huh Huh

Basiclly does it act as an open diff on deceleration  Undecided

Hi, Quafe is torque biasing and the ZF is Limited slip.  Bruce T did an amazing job on rebuilding mine, and he is an expert on them in my opinion, hopefully he will answer your questions.
