All you VW daily driver guys.... I feel for yah.  Be careful out there....  Its totally nuts! Could you even IMAGINE if it snowed here?  People would just plain freak!  Floods, cars turning over, bikers being blown off their bikes, mayhem.

Rain? Yep... plenty of it too...

I work in Orange County and live about 75 miles north.
Started home yesterday in one of the heaviest rains I've ever experienced... battled the freeways with Semi Trucks... not much of a match for my Jetta... people hydroplaning... they refuse to slow down. Finally getting close to home near the top of Cajon Pass and the rain turned to snow. Good times.

I've enclosed a photo of how my house looked when I got home... it continued to snow for several hours Shocked

The good news: local ski resorts are thrilled!

The bad news: Some So. Cal drivers have not a clue how to drive in bad weather Roll Eyes

Here's little something to put things into perspective  Wink

Cell phone photo from last Saturday in the street front of our garage.

City is saving in the snow plowing costs and 1/3 of the parking places are lost, if there's no public transportation route in the street they won't plow it on regular basis.

Street I live in suburb turns into one-way during winter..

Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.

It's been snowing/raining here all week, expecting 3-5 FEET a hundred miles north in Flagstaff.

I keep the GTV locked up in the garage in this kind of shit, even though it's better in the snow and the heater works better than in my Tundra, it's much less replaceable!

All of this rain and snow, and global warming, are all being faked by Hollywood on the Moon.

a long time ago when animals could speak or thereabout man roamed the surface of the earth and found out that pools could be filled with water and generate that way a similar environment, yet very limitet and highly inadequate, to the lakes and oceans that were around at the time and that were used for swimming and bathing purposes.
it took years, even centuries to rectify this hickup in evolution and it was only until the invention of the clay wheel and riding stick that people started to see why they really dug shaped holes in the ground.
sadly to this day, people intentionally fill the holes with water, and holding dear to a tradition that has no deeper meaning or historical nessesity.
