My Question: What will the powerband do when i use Ida's (48 mm, 40vents) on 044 Cnc roundports ?
Specs of the engine:

78,4 X 90,5 ( 2017cc )
Scat C45 camshaft
9,5 Cr
40 x 35,5 Valves ( 3 angle valve job )
1 1/2 Gene berg exhaust

Currently the engine running on 40mm Idf ( not yet driven it ) but I'm going to switch them with Ida's.
I'm asking this cause om curious about how the round ports with the Ida's will behave against mini D ports or other bigger ports.

Greets, Paul

What is the port size entry of the roundports?

And maybe downsize the vent's a little bit maybe... Undecided

Speak 2u soon!

37 vents would work.

IDAs work on 1776s - 1914s that are setup for 40IDFs and open up the powerband.

The header will limit the rpm band somewhat. But it will pull good.
FYI That cam responds very well to 1,25 rockers. And I do think your engine will be more responsive espcially from 3000 rpm & up due to the more lift on a relatively small port.

Allright guys, thank you for the information! I made a mistake about the vents that stick in the Idas, they are 37mm instead of 40m  Cool
