I was at Borders Book store this evening and flipping through all of my usual Hot Rod magazine I came a cross a magazine called  "Garage Style " to my surprise
Mark and Paul Schley's garage was a six page article and a nice layout of their shop. Back in September we attended the VW Treffen Mark and Paul had invited few friends Judy and I to stop by
and visit and to see their shop and museum. Congratulation to both of them for the nice article on their shop and all of the nice cars.

   Thanks

Huge changes have been made since those photos were taken. You really don't get a good idea of the VW museum/collection they have "upstairs". Incredible garage, only 5000 sq feet, two-stories...... Jaw-dropping.

http://www.garagestylemagazine.com/

Garage Style Magazine is the creation of our long time friends Don & Michelle Weberg.  I met Don some years ago when he was a free lance writer.  He has done numerous articles on my cars including our '55 New Yorker Town & Country wagon which was his first cover on Cars & Parts Magazine a few years back.

This is a very good publication and I highly recommend you subscribe, not because he is my friend, but the contents within.  There is something for everybody.\

Wow! How neat! A friend in the industry just turned me on to this site and there you are talking about one of the publications I represent, Garage Style Magazine! It's awesome and we feature a different collection and/or very cool garage each quarter along with all the other great details about products, gadgets, Automobilia and more. There's definitely been a void to fill in this area and publishing a magazine about "all things garage and the people who own them" is awesome. Glad you like it and appreciate you sharing. I personally own http://www.carprusa.com and work on about 4-8 high-level Concours d'Elegance events a year (some inaugural, some existing), represent many car-centric websites, several car clubs and magazines and a whole lot more. I've got 17 years of hard time in the classic and exotic car and love every second of it! Nice to meet everyone.

It may not be Cal-Look but I like the mild mannered E39 in the foreground. Cool

Maybe some day I can build a garage like this for all of my junk LOL. This is one of my garages I will have to concentrate on the other two.

For those of you not familiar with a BMW E39 M5 I can advise that during their production, 2000-2003 the were the World's Fastest Production Sedan.  A mear 400hp propels this rocket with all the bells and whistles one could ask for.  A photo of our 2001 41K example attached.  Note the California Veteran's Plate which reads M5 RKT   Grin Grin Grin

Agreed.  the E34 is certainly a more "hand crafted" ride.  I've driven several of those and they are nice, but as Ron Fleming stated to me over 40 years ago, "There is no substitute for CUBIC INCHES".   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Russell,

I've not heard many compliments about those cars.  Personally I've never driven one because I couldn't get past the "UGLY" factory  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

I had an E30 touring, only a 318 or something like that. Bought it accident damaged, replaced the wing, bonnet, front panel, bumper and headlight, pulled the gearbox back into the right place and then gave it and my mk3 Golf to the painter who painted my last Beetle! Pretty good deal I think! Wink
