Here are my pics from the Monte-Carlo. This rally took place one week after the official Monte-Carlo, it is reserved to 30 years old cars and older, that ran the Monte-Carlo in the past.

Check out this website for more infos (regulations, eligible cars, pics of previous editions). http://www.acm.mc/rmch/rmch_main.php?page=2010/accueil_2010.php&lng=en  There was about 350 cars this year, they start the timing sections evey minutes, so I stood in the snow during 350 minutes = 6 hours to see them all, from 12:00am to 6:00pm ! I didn't took pics during the night because my camera is not very good.

Very nice, did you see any beetles? I think Vidar with a 1303 was on the race.

Some pics with air-cooled VW's will come. I have pics of 2 beetles and a type 3, and I saw another beetle at night, but didn't took the pic.

Real shame about the RS, but all ok to the driver/codriver.
Went of road in high speed...this is the only real 73RS in Norway.
Not matching numbers but still a real 1973RS M472 touring.
Bought from Autofarm England in 1996/97.
My guess is that it will be buildt up again.

Nico great shots, what an awesome event.
Can you check the link above? Did not work for me.

I think that real RS is toast, how much of real RS will be left after the rebuild?

Today I picked up a copy of the historical-rally guide. There will be 3 beetles, one type 3, a lot of 911 and 356, some early Golfs too.

This year there will be Rauno Aaltonen (winner of the rally in 1967) on a Mini Cooper S, and famous french driver Jean Ragnotti on a Renault 4.
