Hi.

How high must the fuel pressure be on a set of 51.3 mm ida, for max power ?  ( 3 psi )

The carburrators have bin fittet whit original weber 300 needle valve.

I always ran mine at 3.5 PSI. Just beware of the small fuel pressure guages there not entirely accurate!

If you get the 3.0 needle valves to seal with 3.5 psi you`re lucky. Remember that the glass needles are light and has bigger area = you do not need so much fuel pressue to deliever the same amount of fuel. I used 2.3-2.4 psi on mine, any more and the junk glass needles would not seal. Remember to check the float level carefully.
