What is the difference??? And history???

For some of us that don't get out much, what is the difference of
"old Cal Look" or "new-old Cal Look" or "resto Cal Look" or "new old skool Cal Look",
etc. actually got this phrase from Jim R. off another post, got me ta thinking. Would be cool to post pics of all the different "styles", inside and out and motors. And history of when these styles were born, so to speak, So much have changed throughout the years, some good and some not so good, but that depends on our personal taste. So let the info and pics post!

its like what type of Christian are you? Depends on interpretation.
But firstly Resto-cal is nothing do to with cal-look, so never mention those words on this forum again. See reference in Leviticus.

Multiply that by the highest known number, my friend. Very well written, too.

No no no...John, Mark Ian... Not trying to open any can of worms or try to start anything. Just like Fabs post, just a explanation on the different Styles, thats it. I agree what was said for my self, you build what you want on how you see things and what makes you happy. Maybe I worded it wrong, but not ment to pick on anybody or anything. Just to see what the difference is, that simple. With that said...carry on!

hey ted
evolution basically same as any enthusiasts car ..
from : stock cheap car , d-i-y modified on the cheap using parts off other cars as no aftermarket parts within reach .
to : money no object checkbook restorations , all parts available , subtle changes exagerated way out of proportion .
in between was progressive evolution that people break down into various stages that can then be pidgeon holed
