i want to know what kind of manifolds are these!






i got those from a set of old weber 40idf carbs.

I has the same manifolds as you, and they also come from a set of old 40idf.
But I don't know what kind they are, so I do also want to know what kind these are Smiley

 Hi Guys

Those manifolds look just like a set that was fitted to a Beetle I bought in the late '70s.

It was supposedly fitted with an Engine built by Autocavan a few years earlier? Perhaps Keith can shed some light on that possibilty?

But that said it could have been a 'Bitsa'.. I've never seen Manifolds like those since in UK.

I do remember thought that they were not great manifolds and the Aluminum was a bit Cheesy.  Grin

Nothing to do with Autocavan, per se, but a generic manifold which, I believe, originated in Germany.

The inlet looks small, like it was made for a 40mm carb and nothing bigger. For that, it's perfect Smiley
