why do you want to change from 125? The Pauter R6E8 in my 2165 is docile, yet fierce above 3800 to just under 7000. I run it with Scat 1.25

A better thing to do is upgrade your heads. By increasing to a 42mm valve, you'll make way more hp than any cam change.

And reduce the header to a 1 5/8" I prefer the Scat C45 over the Engle 125. As much or even more power (at least torque) and more quiet running. But it depends on what youre looking to improove. T

I ran a W130 and stock rockers decades ago in a similar motor (ex DKP) no complaints, period. (Except from the losers behind me)

hey bruce are you talking about made my heads 42x37? but those valves will work whit my "drive to the shows-thursday night dragstrip" vw cruiser? yes. your cam is already a pretty big cam, you wouldn't want to bigger with your small heads. Bigger heads is what you need. A smaller exhaust too.

Sorry I didn't answer your PM Luis, been busy!! I agree the exhaust is too big, you're loosing some torque there. I've never ran the 125, but for your combo it looks right to me

yep i like it too but i want to go "old school" in fact i'm going to change the hole look of mi engine thats why im going to sell the headers and the muffler. the thing is that both (muffler and headers) are big flange and as you amigos said, it will be better if i use 1 5/8 headers, right? right know here is how it looks my engine: but its been a lot of years whit the same look, i want a change! saludos amigos! You're motor looks pretty good Luis. One of my favorite things about your car has always been the "Hecho En Mexico" badge
