My first encounter with a callook bug was in 1984 when my cousin callooked his bug he got from our uncle.
A 1700 engine, yellow and red graphics, red tornado mirrors, formula france 3 spoke steering wheel and a array of vdo cockpit design meters.

I was hooked then Grin

I'm sure Mark Thurber still has some pic's of his car, but I not aware of him on the Lounge.  Maybe Sarge can help?  Wink

This car (Thurbers), owned by my next door neighbor, when I was 14 and 15.
I agree, especially with that engine turned brass dash.

Now that, I would love to see!
