BugPack Cams -10, -11, -? designations

Any one remember the suffixes attached to the various BugPack grinds?
Did they denote different lobe centers, rocker preferences or???
I've got a new 4063-10 here with something like 268 @ .050 with .390 lift that I've been considering for my 1914 build. I understand it is a 1.1 rocker grind. Interestingly the Web 86C has similar .050 numbers and IC event
I also have a NIB 4065-11 that seems to be a ratio cam. .343 lift and 253 @ .050 but I've seen numbers for a 4065-10 .331 lift and 234 @ .050. (This may be a dual pattern grind...)
There must be some old school guys that remember some BP cam lore.

Well, in the current Bugpack catalog, only the 4063-10 is listed. I don't have my Interchange Parts book with me at work. But I did look it up in my cam spec list on my laptop. Both cams are listed as 108* lobe centers. I find it a bit odd that the current catalog, the 4063-10 doesn't really specify if its for use with 1.1:1 rockers, as it also shows lift figures for 1.25:1 and 1.4:1. On the same note my cam spec list shows its designed for 1.1:1 rockers.
Now on my cam list the 4065-11 has a note stating to be used with 1.5:1 rockers. According to the duration @0.050" and lift at cam it looks to be similar to a Web Cam 86A, but the 4065-11 will achieve a tad more lift.
Now the 4065-10 is stated for use with 1.1:1 rockers. The side note states its a turbo cam and great bottom end.
As fort the -10 and -11 designations, I have no clue. I see no obvious pattern according to the numbers given.

4063-10 .390 Lift at the cam and 268* duration @ .050 Can be used with 1.1 or 1.25 rockers
4065-11 .343 Lift at the cam and 253* duration @ .050 Can be used with 1.4 or 1.5 rockers. This is not a dual pattern grind.
The only Dual Pattern Grind numbers we produced were the 4064-10 and 4064-11
Hope This helps.

Thanx for digging up that info. Unfortunately doesn't shed any real light on the - numerical suffixes used in the grind identifiers.
I also have info that there was a 4064-12 in the dual pattern mix as well. (Drag Race Competition grind with 328 degrees of advertised duration.) The higher numerical suffix seems to have a longer duration attached.

When the part number were assigned the suffix -10, -11-, +12 etc had nothing to do with the lift or duration other thsn thst it was differant. The beginning numbers ie 4062, 4063, 4064, etc had more to do with the grouping 1.1 to 1 ratio, 1.4 or 1.5 to 1 ratio or dual ramp grinds. Hopefully this answeres your question a little better.
