Thanks guy, another well deserved trophy for Lanny's awesome work.

I really had a great week end, and thanks Ivan for the geat hospiltality from the Volksword crew.

So many nice VW enthousiasts from all over europe and a bunch of wonderful bugs & bus  of all style  VOW it made my day for three days... Grin

And I also had  the icing on the cake, I found a Volksworld back issue from 1996 with this... Shocked

Book me in for next year Ivan!

Lanny you should be rightly very proud of the car

the interior alone is fantastic. Not to mention fit and finish of the tinware , under carriage, wiring etc etc

Lanny, I know you prefere the car with the 135/15 as we discussed before, but the braking ability and the ride is fabulous with those 155/55 XAS FF.

I wish you could drive it now to give me your feedback.

As for the look, it is up to each one but I do like it with the 155 as well. It gives the car a nice old school look.

Great car with any tires on anyway Grin

Good points..I'm guilty of choosing appearance over performance. Grin The best driving VW I've ever built has 16" alloys w 205-45-16 (F), 235-45-16(R) tires. Not my favorite look but an amazing car to drive. Light steering, smooth ride and excellent cornering. Can you bring the Caldwells on your carry on luggage?... Grin
