It's old school for a reason

« on: April 04, 2010, 18:59:18 pm »

well started the up date today

engine out and partially stripped in readiness for a new cam new, piston rings, bearings  and a new case.

out will go the 48idas and in comes a new turbo setup based around a CB blow through kit but with a stinger 4244 ecu and fuel injection.

gearbox will basically be the same long street gears but with an LSD

Started with the easy stuff today by putting on the new wheels, thanks Markus . Lots to do but I hope to be up and running by mid May, lets see what happens

Going to give the back end a good clean down later today and maybe get the rear wings off so I've some room to work.

Tom no Ghia updates as life getting in the way at the moment  Undecided

After a few false starts I now have my new engine case, parts from the USA on the way here and all my AN fitting and hard lines have been delivered,

Hopefully I'll be able to get some of the oil and fuel pluming sorted and the the line lock mounted this week end  and that will leave me a couple of weeks  to get the engine sorted before Gary's picnic

Photos later  Wink
