AA-cylinders are becoming more and more used for hot VW engines, and the quality is hopefully good? I have purchased a set of thick wall 92 mm type 1 cylinders, but I think the honing is too "thin"compared to Cima/Mahle cylinders.

Is it standard practice to rehone these cylinders?
