Ohhh and freeway underpasses at full throttle made all drivers piss their pants. Hehe! Cool

Maybe its just me, but that was funny right there!  Who didn't do this when they were young?  I did this.... once!

Mine would be this....  straight cut gears in anything that runs.  I remember "back in the day" that when a car pulled in running straight cut gears (a) they were magnum, (b) the engine had IDA's, (c) the engine was "tuff" and ran the number to back up the sound.

I put straight cuts in my last 1776, a mild one at that, mainly with the caveat that I was going to have them for my next "big" build... ended up selling that engine to fund my new engine build, and ironically no straight cuts in this new beast, despite dual springs, Engle 125, etc, etc.  I just couldn't justify an extra $100 to have my engine whine... love them though I do, I had to watch my dollars very carefully.

How about UNDISCLOSED THOUGHTS! I mean come on ... is there no view or notion that can't be held internal?
LOL!

OK, not necessarily Cal-Look, but if it's on The Lounge ... ?

Huh? Alternators were being used when I had my first Cal Looker thirty-two years ago. I never cared for 'em and always went with the factory generator. To each their own, but many cars had 'em. In fact, they were factory installed on the late model VWs during the last few years of production.

As for the trim... who cares? These cars look good with or without it. Personal preference, I say. Thankfully, that's not defined anywhere... so it's a free market.

Agreed, that would be hard to do on a Split, especially if it's Orig. Cool
Having a hard time changing the '58 US project too ...
