How many of you good people leave your vw outside all year round??

I am just wondering as i would like to get a cheap run around as have got a nice sunday bug already.but this would mean keeping it outside as my good bug takes up all the room in the garage and i got the vento as well.just wondering the effects of leaving it outside all year apart from the rust issue of course

Clean out your front room and make room for the bug...
Move the TV and the couch into the yard and dress warmly.

I live near the water so salt corrosion is a major problem. So after 25 years of being outside it needed a lot of rot repair. Now that it's been redone it rests inside where it's been protected and still looks great after 14 years.
