This is way off topic/topic. But I need a new Boykin Spaniel, female puppy. Preferably west of the Mississippi, OFA/CERV etc. Will pay for a top quality dog.

How cool! I actually never heard of the species, and with googling it, I found it is rather a rare dog type with only a recent history.
'State dog of South Carolina'  Cool
We have had English Springer Spaniels for all of my life, even showed and trained them. The Boykin seems to have a bit of Spinger Spaniel as well.

Please show a pic of the puppy when she's with you.

Tnx,
Walter

Dr. Mac Jones, vintage VW collector par excellence turned me onto Boykins. And now I'm completely spoiled...enough
to drive to Park City, Utah to pick her up in Sept. We loved our Springer way back when, now a smaller breed (35 lbs.)
works for us. I can't wait to get a new buddy to play ball with  Cheesy

Glad you found your pup Phil... I was going to offer you a Bull Terrier / Shiz tsu mix...     ok,ok, old joke.
My Wife was quite ill two years back, so in an effort to "help" we adopted Ernie, a Frenchie Puggle (50% French Bulldog, 25% Beagle, 25% Pug)
Ernie was, (and still is) an "enthusiastic" puppy and he really helped my Wife mentally as she recovered.
Dogs are good Smiley

(Sorry for the derail Phil)
The Beaglier sounds like a cool breed!
My Ernie is a great dog, he has that Beagle hunter in him. (Beagle stubborn too Grin)

Cellphone pic of Ernie chillin' in the snow last year..
