What do you think of this ? Is that suposed to "simulate" an IRS on a swing-axle car ? Seems interesting...

VERY good idea- should take a whole lot of unwanted movement out of the springplates.

I think thats the point, its supposed to stop the geometry changing itself. It should help eliminate springplate flex, and stop the rear end from tucking in or getting into positive camber from how I understand it.

Rear wheel tuck is caused when the suspension drops. Those bars do nothing to prevent the suspension from dropping.

I think that the only way those things would stiffen the rear suspension travel,
is when they biind, because they are trying to work in a different plane.

I think you are right, even VW's stock IRS has design issues, they need rubber bushings.
