hello all lounger i looking for info & pict from the first inch pincher too......yes the first ,the baja bug was the first & the second was the drag car ,if you know something about this car & his story i'm taking  Wink to help you  i know that the car was in 4 stages 1:-revell sponsor , 2:-empi sponsor with big logo onthe front decklid & without the rev counter on this one , 3:-empi sponsor with little empi logo on the fiberglass  decklid & with  the rev counter in this one ,4:-white car with empi sprinstar ans psychedelic paint scheme  that's all i know about the car ...... Roll Eyes don't hesitate to post pict & story about the car thanks  Wink

I didn't expect to have a photo of inch pincher too in a hot rod pictorial book , and first photo which I see in color of this one

A bit off topic but have a Revell model that builds either the Inch Pincher baja or a cal look bug.

Not really sure what they go for, not that i would sell mine anyway.
Scale 48 IDA's, extractor exhaust etc will make for a cool model when i get round to it.

here's a cool video we can see the inch pincher too baja with th flower power paint doing by people at the 1st bug in car was white with flowers painted
car appears at 1.22 ( girl working on the engine the car is the ip2) , 1.35 & 1.53

Very cool video!
The Baja 1000 is one of those events that every car guy has to do at least once in their lives. I was lucky enough to go along in 2011 and help pit crew for a team that won their class. Crazy good time!
