My 63 Bug is running a bit rough, after further investigation when you look down one of the carbs no fuel is coimng out of one side of that carb (the other is fine) The fuel squirter (if thats what it is!) seems blocked.

How do I cure this problem?
Is it a carb off job?

Hi Lee,

The accelerator pump jet is easily removable on it's own from the side - you don't need to remove the carb top like you do on an IDA.  As a start I would suggest removing both from that side and giving them a good look and a blow through and clean.  As long as you are sure that  is the issue.  If not then do the same for the idle jets and the carb fuel filter for that side.

Cheers
Phil
