Picture the scene, Father's day in the East of Scotland, sun shining on 'Golf Country', good friends and good chat for a little outing of some Lookers to stretch their legs on the track.

A great day was had by all, backed up by some decent times on a less that optimal track, but happy days indeed  Grin

£15 for the day, as many runs as you want if you pick a RWYB day. Smiley

Dude  Cool

I've been on holiday to Fife - Gran had a holiday appartment up there - and drove my bone stock '60 bug from Sheffield to Edinburgh, dropped a mate off and then on to Fife. Three days later drove from Fife to Wolverhampton, and I'm sure it was more than 3000 miles. I think New York to LA would have been quicker... Shocked Cheesy

Great photo's, looks like it was a great day!

The drive up's not too bad (I did Madeley (Cheshire) to Aberdeen, Perth and Milngavie and then back home in two days this week - as well as working at each site I went to)... the guys north of the border have been making the trip down to the Pod for years - even the smaller journey down to York raceway is still a big one.

I'll be at the next one!

How many cars would we need to bring to book an all vw day???

That last day was 'branded' a Seat day, I'm sure they'll have a VW day on the calendar, might just need to have a word wth the organisers and set aside an air-cooled section.........?

As Peter says, if we could get a dozen cars that would be a decent start, not too far for the Lothian guys to travel.

How many guys can make it.

I wouldn't bother about worrying about the lothians if the track was in their back garden they would struggle. Wink

If the Aircooled eliminator guys/girls were given notice they would turn up  Smiley

Turning up and making it our day is the best option. IMHO
