Hi,
I bought a set of 4 chromies in 4.5 and 5.5 for my '60 ragtop. In front will be installed the stock 155SR but at the rear I don't know which is better....
I think 185/80R15 could be too much wide...
This pics in for the current stance

Thanks in advance

Roberto

no difference in width between a 185/70 and 185/80, just height.

Hi,
the Vredestein Sprint Classic is avaible in that size.
For me, that I live in Italy, I can buy them to http://www.gommadiretto.it/ but they're avaible all over europe without problem.

185/80R15 are ok, I have them too with 155R15 front (both Vredestein). 185/70 won't have enough height with 155 I think, and  with the 185/80 the tires will sit perfectly under the fenders. Plus with chormies 4,5 you can lower enough the front of the car to have a nice stance with the 155.

Do you have a pic of your car?

Thank to all for help, at this point 99,9% I'll go with 185/80R15...  Wink

Thanks!  Wink
If everything goes well (money), this winter I'll start to restore the car with a body off because there is a lot of rust on heater channels, front apron and other parts.
The final step will be a nice precal motor... I must study on it...  Grin

Bye

Nice stance Al.
What suspension settings are you using?
Is that stock rear height but with some kind of drop on the front?

Cheers
