Also we got the front end apart and sent it to Griffin's VW machine shop for a full rebuild and addition of adjusters and 2 1/2" drop spindles....

The front end was fully taken apart. Now, it's in the spray booth and looking much better.

Next, the transmission will be taken to Mike Herbert over at Rancho. Going to have a few mild mods done to it. Stay tuned.

HAHA!! Thanks... it's moving along, I suppose. Can't wait for the transmission to be done so we can bring the rolling pan home. Then, things will move a bit faster.

Bob wanted to get in D.K.K. back when I first got in. Maybe this time around... guess we'll see. As for the saw, I dig that in the picture and told him that this morning. Good stuff, actually.

Hi Guy's, It's always been a dream of mine to be in DKK since way back when!!!!  That would truly be an HONOR to be accepted in and have the Deeks label on my car. As far as the saw goes, how do you think I got the motor off  Cheesy

I thought that for a long time, but the last few months I am REALLY on a Centerline thing (no bubble fronts!). Must be the winter...I keep thinking I should find a set and convert my car back to wide-5.   Shocked
