Do someone remember this thread?:

Nordic World ski championship started in Oslo last Thursday and Norway is in the lead. My favourite Marit Bjørgen took her 3rd gold medal out of 3 possible today:

 Cheesy

She had a day off yesterday and the golds went to Sweden and Canada - congrats to both nations.

Her fiance was interviewed this morning and they asked him what he planed for her when she got home after the championships. Nothing, I will take out the vacuum cleaner so that she quickly get down to earth again he replied. Good guy!

Yes Jago - I`m sure you have you`re moments too when you do not look you`re best.  Wink

And 4 out of 4 today when Norway beat Sweden and Finland in the 4 x 5 km.

Just the 30km left and it will be a race between Marit, Sweden and Poland. I`m really looking forward to it!

Isn't "Nordic World Ski Championship" a bit like the Americans talking of the "World Series" in baseball (or rounders as we know it…)? Huh Cheesy

Thanks Niklas. 600 000 watched from the arena and 700 000 joined the medal ceremony down town. What a succes!

Not a problem, Norway as a team will benefit from a coach change. He has done his job a long time ago.

You are probably right. Anyway the games were great fun and even us Finns can see some light at the end
of the tunnel. Finally!

I was hiking around Holmenkollen last summer and was happy to see the change from the "construction site" to
what the place was now. Great job.  I will have to check it out this summer too, or maybe concentrate on SCC ?

Be well!
