I have a few ideas, but what is the best/safest way to ship a transmission?

Just a idea, Build a wood crate, Rap the tranny in plastic and fill void around tranny with two part foam.

leave it in the car, then if the car gets damaged the gearbox will still be safe!  Grin Tongue
