Think I'm going to have to buy a set of one piece window scraper's from Machine7 .
Still on the up side me and Boom Boom have started to bolt my motor back together in its latest power upgrade , hope to have the long block together by end of play today  Cool Cool
Will take a few pic's of the build up for you guy's .

I spent another day in the freezer with my car today " I'm sure its colder in there than outside  Roll Eyes"
Got the new fuel system in , mounted the nice little rotary pump to the bulk head where the brake fluid reservoir normally sits along with the filter ,
I thought this was as good place as any so as to make maintenance easy and also managed to use the existing holes  Cool
While at the other end of the car I've mounted the Holley regulator and gauge to the bulk head , had a little panic here for as soon as I'd drilled the holes for it i thought the dog leg oil cooler would foul it , after some hasty bolting in of short block and fan housing I found that alls well and I've space for it , phew .
Next on the fuel side of thing I need to look at reworking an old cap of mine . I've been pulled up a few times on tech inspect coz of the fact my cap is self venting and if I were to roll it would piss out every where .
So I've found an old steel cap which I'm going to weld around the vent holes and graft in a vent outlet pipe into the center of the cap .
Sounds extreme but i don't wish to cut a vent pipe into the tank so it will kill two birds with one stone .
With luck I hope to finnish of the bottom end of my motor this coming week , so I can start to sort out my new "old in need of modernization " engine tin .
I'm going to use a late fan housing with a 36 hp front and sides grafted to it . will post pics of this and the car soon as i've something to look at  Cool

Has anyone ever tried to mount a anti roll bar to a narrowed beam ?
As I'd like to fit one but I don't think you'd get away with cutting one  Smiley

As we all know after market fan housing suck  Roll Eyes sorry crap joke , after seeing the article on here .

still got a little fetling to do , but I'm fairly happy how it came out  Smiley

And best of all it all works , fan spins nice and free and tins line up a treat  Cool

Picked up some seventies style rocker switch's today for my lights wiper's and oil cooler  Cool
Also got myself a small micro switch for the Line Lock , can't find the one that came with it anywhere  Roll Eyes
It's pretty small so I think I'm going to mount it in the hand brake button , and try using as a staging brake too  Undecided

Its not lookin to pretty at the mo but I'll post some pics soon as it looks a bit cleaner  Wink
