Thanks Ed, My good friend Randy "Kaferdog" is looking for these seats. He's working tonight, but when he gets home he'll check this out and either I or Randy will let ya know He is, as myself are also local (Whittier), Randy, (Montebello). I know Dustin is also interested, so will let ya know ASAP. The seats DO look good, and I remember seeing them at JC. Thanks Ed

Thats pretty local, I'm behind St. Bruno's Church off Santa Gurdrudus. Cool! I know there are nice VW's in Whittier, but there all locked up under car covers, until events.

Randy, I'm pretty sure the seat tracks are wider on a ghia. They list different mounts for beetle and ghia.

I wanted a set for my bug, but never got around to it. The folks I've talked to about them have been very happy with them.

New tires today. I really like the Conti 155/60-15 much better than 145's. No more fender rubbing up driveways or during a full turn.. The braking and cornering is improved too. Plus I think they look pretty good. Have Continental 195/65-15 for the rears too. I still need to shave the wheel studs so I can use Porsche cap lugs.

Hey Ed, was pleasure meeting you Sat. morning when picking up the tires with Randy. Your Ghia is awsome. Just with the changes you made so far has made a BIG difference in the look. Those tires gives your Ghia a whole new look. Now with the back seat and lights, WOW! Say Ed, if ya need a radiac cut off tool, I have one also with a die grinder, if you have air. Thats what I had to do with my studs, cutting off that extra material so the lugs will fit. Let me know if you need it.

Hey Ted...nice meeting you guys too. Thanks for the offer to cut the wheels studs too. I might replace the rotors, but if I don't, I'll get in touch with you.

By the way...thanks to some of my buddies for the parts assistance.
Ron Greiner... Scat Procar seats. "Big guy" John Lazenbey....Hella Headlights And from the legendary DRA, Marc Buelher and Rev Bob...original 71rear Ghia seat.
FYI..the car drives great with the new tires.
Next up. Complete rear shelf upholstery, new pedal cluster, re-chrome bumpers and swapping out the KYB Gr2's for Koni shocks. Then on to the motor.
