Calif. state Senator Christine Kehoe is quoted in OLD CARS & MOTORSPORTS vol. 10.6 as saying.

"WE WANT YOUR CARS REGULATED.   WE WANT A MILEAGE CAP ON YOUR CARS.

WE WANT YOU TO HAVE TO PURCHASE A PERMIT TO DRIVE THEM AND WE WANT

YOU TO TRAILER YOUR CARS TO AND FROM EVENTS."

These statements were made in regards to Senate bill AB-1740 (failed), which addresses kit car
registration.  Well you might say "that doesn't effect us".  You're right, but her statement at the
least shows the attitude of state legislators and the power they wield.

Isn't there an old adage about your neighbors house being burgled?

Of course, a beach buggy is offically classed as a kit car... Angry In the Uk you can build a LWB buggy without a problem, but as soon as you sorten the chassis it needs a £490 inspection which it has no hope of passing because it's then treated as a brand new car. Roll Eyes

LOL!!!   Essence de Bovine ain't nothing compared to what the State has in store for us.

Since the State and the Feds have pissed on my parade for decades, I have one hell of a
RANT all coiled up inside me.....I'll spare you all for the time being  Wink

Regarding the Harris Ranch on Interstate 5. A nicely executed tourist trap with a poor excuse
for a premium steak, oh well  Tongue
