Danny, I recently saw a custom '67 that used rubber from a VW bus. A little different profile, no chrome... Interesting alternative.

I've wanted to do that. The bus stuff is super flat.

You should not worry, he makes orders on a monthly basis depending on demand. Took a month to get mine, but it looks real good. He has good feedback on TheSamba too if that's worth anything.

I used split window rubber . ...I think W.W. ?...  It has a much smaller profile...... Also used a corner window for the oval rear too. ....You have to work it around a little to get it to fit the rear though.....Here is a pic along with my Ed roth decal. .....Notice it will show the sillouette of old rubber if you dont use new glass...Doesnt bother me though.

Here is something you should know about paypal, If its past the 45 day window, They cant do much about getting your parts. I am going on almost 2 months that I ordered from LUFTKUHLTE. Looks like I might eat 190.00 dollars

All I can say is the seller responded to my e-mail and would answer any questions. I eventually got the seals. Have you been told they were shipped?
I delt with him in February, so I can't say the current state of his business honestly.
This is the e-maill address I have...

If you did it on your credit card through paypal you might still be covered, not sure about the USA but in the UK anything over £100 is insured by your credit card company.  So you could claim through them.

The guys a scam, He tells ya that you have a five week wait, Then puts you off till the 45 day window that paypal wont help. So If anybody knows the guy, Maybe you can help. And the guy is bobby from Luftkuhlte. Geez, it does not take 8 weeks to order and ship parts.
