Hi Udo i go there as a spectator ,i build 2 transmissions for 2 dutch race cars recently ,
they run in pro et classes in hockenheim
lets see if the can compete there .

I realy don,t know udo if i had my car ready i would go , its also strange that also in drachten there are almost no vw s racing and there are plenty in holland it is such a nice event .
but when i am in hockenmeim i will visit you .

Back from Hockenheim and i think it was one of the biggest events in europe .. and it was good to see that there are still some fans that like to see our cars racing Udo |

He had problems with 1. gear so he could not drive . You can see him next weekend i think

I just want to send my congrats to Udo and Karin. Udo ran a 10,8 with his green Top-Chop. Karin ran an impressive 11,8 in her "heavy-weight", full street-trim, black 1967-beetle. Well done guys! I think Udo`s Top-Chop (known as St Moritz Express) is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, VW-dragrace-car in Europe that is still in action since 40 years. Udo races the car since 19 years now. Every season.
Not to forget Peter Girlich, who brings the famous "Aligator Push" with him and Frank Benders with his "Little Grey". Thanks to you all for keeping the aircooled VW-flag up.
Fingers crossed for Thomas Kemp. He will be very busy to fix his gearbox for SCC.

Thanks Helge . I am proud of Karin who did qualify 6. on a 53 car field. On the 1 race she was very exciting and did launch with low rpms . I was happy too to win 2 races until we had a rainout.
Next weekend at Drachten we have more racing action ...
