Taller manifolds give you more bottom end, less top end. Short manifolds give more top end, less bottom end.

Tall manifolds=no conventional air filters, unlimited linkage options, easy access to spark plugs and intake nuts.  Short manifolds = air filters ,very difficult to re/re, tough plug access. I'd like to see some dyno comparisons. Bruce will chime in with his love of the short manifolds..Smiley
