I sure I remember somebody on here having a removable (or at least temporarly removing) the bottom plate of the tunnel so that they could run fuel lines etc down the inside. It was done really nicely and well detailed.

However, I cant for the life of me find the pictures or thread!!  Roll Eyes

Could somebody post em here, or put a link to the thread please. Want to do some work on my tunnel but need to know where the internal cable conduits run. Smiley

Its in the begining and did the same thing on a ghia that I'm working on. I posted that about 6-7 months ago.

Here you can see how i did it . The big line inside the tunnel is for the fuel and the lines in the body for oil cooler  Wink Open up the tunnel has a lot of advantage . You can clean everything inside .....

I hope you dont mind mr DDS, I have had a few people that wanted close up shots of the center removed. Here is a shot with 1/8-5/8 cold roll strap rosette welded to edge, Picture of a few different types of nut plates, and one of the tools for drilling  rivet holes for mounting nutplates. and holes have been drilled and countersunk for 10/32 screws.
