Some cheap wheels that I've tried make look expensive 😉

I have a set of aluminium JGE centre caps for those, if you're interested.

Can't believe myself how they turned out, it was a last minute thought in the shop to grab the metallic paint instead of regular black.  I used this and rubbed down with grey scotch brite. They were blasted so have nice texture which helps too.

That's funny, I also got the same exact wheels on a deal too good to pass, and was planning on doing something similar, but I was thinking of leaving the lip polished if possible, we'll see!

I got these for half price on a clearance sale, so like you were too good to pass up on. Was thinking of leaving the lips als, instead I've just rubbed them some more for a little contrast.

Anybody any idea how old these could be? When was this packaging used?

Thanks,

The problem is that I can't do a direct upload from the DVD - trying to find a Mac-compatible piece of software that will allow me to do so, and also single out specific clips to upload. The easy alternative (which I used to post a couple of pieces on my Facebook page) is to take a video of the video(!) using my phone, but the quality is, naturally, terrible!

This is freeware and great at ripping:
https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
I use it all the time to rip my daughters DVDs onto the iPad (and then VLC to play them back)

And if you choose a Mac happy format to rip it to you should then be able to use iMovie (or whatever its called now) to trim it down..

Kinda silly they are still handing you DVDs. Can you ask for a download link of MP4 files to put directly on your computer? Maybe tell them you have a newer Mac which haven’t included optical drives in years and see what they say.

I asked for DVDs. I'm old school - and I have an external optical drive for my Mac...

Of course! DVDs are great to have for your library, but they should be able to give you both a download link and the opticals, which would be the most convenient, saving you the extra work and hassle.

My friend in South Carolina came across these empi parts and offered them to me and I just got them in the mail.  Empi eliminator shifter and lower Gt steering wheel hub.  The eliminator has some serious patina the wood handle is worn from being in the South Carolina weather.  I thought it had termites at first LoL

Everything is there: windowscrapers, doorstoppers and even an how-to!

I love it  Cool

Does someone have an idea how old these could be?

Mallory IVc with 3-step ignition retard and promaster coil, supposedly never ran, if it does indeed work it was a great deal, if doesn't...well, let's say it was cheap enough to take the risk  Grin
