Bobs car is not steyr, (thats pretty ugly) ;-) but in fact shares most of the body parts glued to "something"
and the engine is in the back, so it' look like its using a vw pan.  ;-) have to say that these cars are nuts!

I had Ric Campbell of Big Wig Racecars do these aluminum side panels for my seat frames. These panels are attached with Dzus fasteners, and match all the aluminum work in the back and trunk (which he did). Frames now go to the powdercoaters and then off to the upholstery shop....

You are correct Sir !
The seller had stated they were in Swedish and other than glance at the pictures, I really didn't pay attention to the text until now.

I never liked the '66-67 seats, even on my original '67. I prefer the way the earlier model seats look and feel. I like the flat tops instead of the more rounded/curved seats that came with the car. So, like before, I switched to the '65 and earlier models. So you are correct, those frames are pre-66!

The '66-67 seats don't do it for me, either. Good call!

Actually the '65 to '67 seats have the curved back, it's '64 and down that have flat.   Grin

the good?..............  i got my magneto back from the dude who was restoring it.

the bad...................it has has taken him 1 year, as opposed to the 3 weeks promised, despite many many phonecalls, and the invoice in with it is for double the agreed quote Huh Huh

i wish that i hadn't decided to support a small UK business and had instead sent it to Joe hunt or Don Zigg....i'm sure i would have got better service.

oh well...at least it's done..... Smiley
