I don´t think so, the case in the picture is drilled for mounting a mechanical fuel pump.

I don´t think so, the case in the picture is drilled for mounting a mechanical fuel pump.

injection cases were AS 21 cases here in Europe. not sure how it was in the US, but i think JS is right since it has the fuelpump hole.

yeah the fuelpump tipped me off.

But the AS21 and AS41 thing isn't related to the FI or non-FI cases I think. Its just the casting - not the design, but the alloy.

I got the feeling, that there is some more material than on normal cases altough.

I did not say it was a Panzer case. Panzer cases were Brazilian single relief filled back cases. Those are fairly common as CB Performance sold them until a few years ago. This is a later replacement case made in Germany that happens to have a factory filled back like the late fuel injected cases. This is the one affectionately known as the "Gold Beauty"

Here is a standard non filled case.

Mahle 85.5 Berg pistons and cylinders (POTL)
Berg Pressure Plate
Berg Stock balanced rods
All Bearings for crank, berg dbl thrust and rod bearings
lifters and pushrods
rockershafts
