Hi!

I have finally gotten my new pistons after searching the net for quite some time to find the right one for my engine update. The bore is 94.89mm and the compression height is pretty low (28.78mm) so I won“t get too much trouble fitting the engine in the tight ovalwindow engine bay after an increase in stroke.

Still some things to do to get them fitting a type 1 though...

Bye,

Ah, the third address used by Autocavan:

2) Royal Arms Filling Station, Heath End
3) Barrack Road, Aldershot
4) 103 Lower Weybourne Lane, Badshot Lea

Happy days!

Around that time they were acquired by a circuitous route by German & Swedish. G&S (sorry, GS&F) retain the rights to the Autocavan name but have never used it. Geoff Thomas, who owned Autocavan, is retired but still 'dabbles' a little. He owns the rights to the Volksport name.

Fabian, is there a flat eight Porsche engine that you're hiding from us? If not, you're ready to build a couple of VW engines.
