I got some new shocks for the Bug.  Koni reds for the front and NOS old koni reds for the back. Everyone is right; the totally changed the way my car drives.  Smiley

I didn't get it in the mail, but I didn't get it today either... so it kind of evens out...  Wink
Yesterday I got to try out the results of a case decked in my new jig. Magnus LH has made it for me after I had some bad experiences with crocked machining from one of the biggest machine shops in California.
My new case isn't decked parallel to the crank, and the only way to cure it is to re-machine it laying on the crank, we made it so it would balance on the cam as well to get the cylinders truly 90 degrees on the crank/cam centre line.
To be able to do this we chose to do the machining with bearings... and it came out perfect.
