No Shubee, I found them on Ebay Germany, I just need the bulb holders and the brackets to mount them on the rear fenders + seals.

I am talking with them to do a single tach grill for the left side. Price is not bad for a one off.

I had bought a set of grills from Germany a few months ago (yellow ones) but when I got them thety were not what I really wanted they are a stock grill which the weld a ring on the outside of it  nice piece but I did not like the way the Grill bars  ended at the gauge end it looks unfinished  Grumpy's are the Way to Go!!! they are the bare steel ones in the pictures compare the bars

hey louis -- how much?

$115 for a single. 10 or more and the price drops "significantly" what ever that means.

Like this one??

Yeah, just like that one. I am going to talk with him more and see if he can set up the trim too. (Keeping the spear and shaving everything else. ) Right now I am thinking tach on the left, stock speedo, gas on the right and oil temp, oil pressure and volts where the radio used to be. Radio hole will be filled in. I think it will be a nice clean look.

He seems to do nice work. I may send him my replacement rear apron and have the exhaust holes filed.

VW Porn care of Mr. Seume.

And the forecast calls for future smokey burnouts.  Grin (Well at least when I get an engine that will actually spin the tires.  Undecided )

I told him I thought there was a Market for them And Got him to Make the Speaker side he charged me $50.00 + $5.00 shipping for the speaker side and $30.00 + $5.00 shipping for the fuel side I Got The First two Sets  He Made  what kind of tach are you going to use?

Yeah, too bad it is only a two page spread. It looks to have a nice plaid interior but no good shots of it.

I plan to run all VDO gauges. Looking at the series 1 line. Simple and classic look. Tach is 3 3/8 dia.

I Had John at Grumpys Metal Fab Make This One up I told him after seeing the right side he was making that he needed to make the left side. I had Bought a set of gauge panels from germany but they were made from a stock grill  and were 2 piece The One's On Samba Are One Piece and Are Made really Nice he made them to fit 67 and older dashes so you dont have a gap around the panel like you do on after market panels I am not sure if the will fit 68 and later with a dash pad..   I bought two Sets  Since they are all hand made you never know how long or how many will be made..  here is his website http://www.grumpysmetal.com/index.html     He Also Dose VW Only RUST REPAIR and will take on any custom metal project but I can tell you He is good and you get what you Pay for if you talk to John Tell him Gary From Texas Sent you!! lol  Look at the wanted section in the Lounge under dash grills you can see other pictures and styles he also is selling them on Samba http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=452156

No like this. This is my dash, 40 year old original paint and everything. I wish the gauges had the "ring" around them like the stock fuel gauge.
