I had my engine out and the dual QPs looked a bit shabby so I contacted Jet Hot and asked about the cost of having them recoated. I was told they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and they would redo them for free, i just had to pay shipping. I explained that its because of my tranny puking gear lube and some oil and had nothing to do with their product and was told it didn't matter. So today it arrived about 10 days after I sent it. They even paid return shipping.

After

Before

Trust me, i'm 100% satisfied.

finally found these at my town in KL, not in the best condition, but these rims seldom come up for sale in this part of the world, so i had to have them. all 4 same size, 6 inch wide with NO heart.

the satin finish is not what they look like, they are PAINTED over for now. will need to get some work done to them , i like how the wheels look like on DKK Fred's car.

Long story behind this ... suffice it to say I'm very lucky to finally have it, once again.
Thank you Gary, Becca, and DSK members! I'll wear it with pride ...

Halon is THE way to go. No Mess, No hassle, they're pricey but worth it....especially in a VW.

I'm mounting the Halon bottle up here for the time being. But I'm leaving the cage clamps
just a little loose, in case of a roll over. Hopefully I'll never have to use it.

I purchased my car from Val-Stream Volkswagen in 1974 and never got a frame. The dealership closed a few years later and it wasn't till 1992 that I started looking for one. Finally after 20 year, I have one.
