those head sure look familiar..... Roll Eyes

hey man, what do think about a W130 in your motor?

Remember that picture you drew of me and April on the dry erase board when we lived on Heather, then I added all those numbers in the "day dream bubbles", symbols, degrees, cam grind numbers, mathematic formula's, engine cc's, gear ratios, 1/4 mile times, different bores and strokes, rocker ratios, cam grinders, head flow numbers, venturi sizes, exhaust sizes, valve sizes, runner lengths, muffler sizes, timing retards, etc, etc. Well anyway, I'm thinking like that again. To make matters worse, I'm now a real machinist and sometimes I day dream about all these numbers and screw up a few parts by typing in the wrong numbers, going to the wrong reference numbers, etc.

Anyway, a W130 with VW 1.25s sounds like a plan. I may just stick an 86c in it and put a close 3rd and 4th being that I only drive the car on the freeway once or twice a month.

I really liked it. Very crisp but still peaky. How easy was it on springs and guides? I really don't want to replace the springs every other oil change. That is my fear with the FK-45. I'm seriously considering going to beehives or LS1 springs. LS1 springs are 1.26" OD and 1.75" installed height, so I would need .200" longer valves and a clean up cut to the spring pockets. Stock diameter springs are 1.24".
