I always thought that the 8" ones would look awesome under stock rear wings with a tabbed rear end...

Awsome idea !! I’ve seen enough 8 inch smoothies anyways so let’s try these on my black 67 when I have them detailed 😎

I'm just looking forward to having some decent shocks on my car for once!

And they are. Enjoy!!! They will control your alloy wheels and tyres much better than the stock units. We have pretty much the same combo fitted and the difference for me was night and day. I set my front shocks to the softest setting and the rears to 1/2 more than softest as I wanted a nice controlled ride but avoid choppiness as with the (near) blanket 20mph limit and near mandatory speed humps here in London, UK my old back can no longer take a rock hard ride!
Sure you will but dont forget to only hand tighten the bolts until you have the car on its wheels on the ground and then torque/tighten fully so that you dont rip the rubber. It seems a touch more compliant than the stock stuff.
Have fun!! Marc

That's good to know! I've only ever put cheap front shocks on this car, the rears are undoubtedly older than I am, so I'm really looking forward to a bit of control!

Mild resto mod.
PAT is significant and there is shit loads of rust to do.
Tangerine paint, ally Steelie wheels, mild lowering and turbo T1 engine to keep weight down
